Searchlight Fieldwork Infrastructure
Our field team comprises over 120 fully trained interviewers.
In addition, we invest heavily in the systems and resources required behind the
scenes to run a fully integrated research fieldwork operation.
Call Centre / Telephone Surveys
- • A 60 seat CATI centre in South Melbourne
- • Auto dialling with integrated call management system
- • Live listening in and digital recording capability
Online Surveys
Over the last 10 years this has been the growth area in research and is a major part of the Searchlight business. We have the full capability to design, host and analyse all types of online interviews from the more basic through to highly complicated studies. Our in house team, led by Lawrence Robinson, is regarded as one of the best in the industry.
Face-to-face Interviewing
Whether it’s intercept interviewing on location, door knock surveys or central location clinics, we have a dedicated team of casual staff to conduct face-to-face interviewing. All of our team members are fully trained and accredited in line with industry standards.
Qualitative Recruitment
We have an internal recruitment team that can provide recruitment for all types of qualitative research from in-depth interviews to focus groups.
Mail Surveys
We have in-house survey design expertise that enables the development of engaging self-completion surveys. Surveys are designed to maximise aesthetic appeal (desktop published or word processed) and can be tailored to client corporate identity specifications.
Mobile Surveys
Mobile phone usage has significantly increased over the years and is a great way
to get in touch with customers and potential respondents. Through our in-house development
team we can leverage our survey software to deliver stylish, media rich surveys
directly to mobile phones.
These capabilities give us the flexibility to conduct research studies of any size
and assure our clients of a quality process on each and every project.
Computer Aided Personal Interviewing (CAPI)
In 2012 we began utilising CAPI (Computer Aided Personal Interviewing) technology. This involves using tablet PCs to administer surveys as an efficient way to collect data vis-a-vis paper + pencil interviewing (PAPI).
Digital
We are proud of our ability to conduct ‘real time’ research by leveraging the latest technology such as mobile smart phones, tablets and social media sites.
